The beauty of Pregnancy sparkles in every mother’s expression. You can see how happy they are. It’s the sweetest waiting time in any woman’s life.
Everyone has a different story. Sometimes she would have couples by themselves. Some other times it would be a family with kids who are expecting another baby. In every case, happiness is portrayed in their photographs in a tasteful way.
There are times where the best props are special objects that will belong to the baby. It’s a beautiful memory to be able to show when they grow up. To look back and see how much their parents loved them, even before they were born.
Today we bring you a special and super cute photo session.
Because believe it or not, sometimes the best way to start to teach responsibilities to our little ones doesn’t have to be through a bigger animal like a dog or a cat.
This little man, who is indeed growing at speedlight (like all of them, apparently, lol), came to the studio to with his family to celebrate his very first birthday, such an important date to remember. It’s going to be portrayed in paper and hearts of every member of the family.
His favorite color is red, and just in case it wasn’t obvious enough, his most loved pet is a beautiful orange fish. It looks like taken out of a cartoon, they decided to bring it to the studio as an important member of the family as well.
Also, he is all about playing with his toys, he loves his little cart and uses it to run around carrying his favorite teddy bears. It does not get cutter than that, I promise.
Tracy used a classic balloon to represent the first year in color blue, his other favorite color. Both create a very energetic contrast in the pictures. It was a very fun photo session and the way he goes through sitting up and giving his first steps is just too cute.
Finally, you must check this outfit out, rocking a baby blue bow tie and a #1, he is looking like a little gentleman, and they were all in love in the studio. He has a beautiful smile and was having a great time in the studio, Tracy was able to capture his beautiful laugh and smile in the photographs, it’s truly captivating.

Pregnancy is really a special time in a woman’s life. Not every person concurs, but rather pregnancy truly is a extraordinary experience.
Pregnancy comes with good and bad times, and here and there it tends to be difficult to acknowledge your new, pregnant shape. Yet, pregnancy is the most beautiful ability women have to create new life and something that must be celebrated!
That is the reason why I must give you 7 reasons why pregnancy is lovely!
1. Creating life
There is nothing more astounding than creating a new life! Simply consider all the stunning changes that will be happening to your child every day during those 9 months. That is delightful!
2. New shape with a purpose
As that life is made, your shape will change. It’s on purpose! It’s not on account of you’re not practicing or not eating great; this is a direct result of that astounding new life. Cherish it!
3. Flawlessly femininity
Is there anything that can be compared to pregnancy? It’s a unique experience, the ultimate female gift!
4. Physical rewards
A great deal of ladies do encounter silky hair, nails, bigger bosoms, and so on while pregnant. Why not appreciate it?
5. Those little kicks!
Knowing that inside your belly, there is a genuine, live child is truly amazing! How many of you simply sit and watch the infant move at times?
6. No stressing over additional weight
For once, you don’t need to fuss that your hips are somewhat more extensive, or your thighs are kissing. Regardless of whether the additional weight you gain isn’t in your fault, it is there for a reason: to feed your baby! Love your pregnant shape overall!
7. Baby Arrival
That little one and its arrival, regardless of how it happens, is an beautiful thing. There is simply nothing else like it. Encountering the birth and afterward holding the infant that developed in your body every one of those months… stunning!

Mondays are busy, fast paced and usually stressful, today we want to bring you something different to enlighten your evening. Tracy is a well known photographer in the Tampa bay area and she specializes in high end photography for families, couples and children, specially those who are waiting for that sweet and loving new family member to arrive.
Tracy loves white and clean canvases, her style is predominant in almost every picture. But today is different, today we want to bring you a compilation of the times when Tracy and the families decided to break the mold and add lots of color, creativity and personality to the session, and the results are breathtaking.
Every photograph tells a story, every family has something special to share with the world, and Tracy helps them pick something that resembles either the baby’s personality (If it’s a photo session about the little ones) or the family values and hobbies (like maternity sessions). Whether is it a sport, a comic or movie character, a reference from animated cartoons, or simply by filling the frame with powerful, warm and expressive colors, utilizing different materials that show the contrast between the baby skin and the textile material or simply to express warmth and personality.
Tracy and the families get out of the studio for a wild adventure to visit the beautiful natural locations that Tampa Bay offers, there are plenty of beautiful parks and places that are family friendly and perfect to capture some impressive photographs. Also, bringing special toys and objects to represent certain interests in the family such as sports and devotion for books or movies are a very popular and creative way to make the little ones look incredible. Definitely the best memories in their first years of life.

Tracy Gabbard is one of the best Photographers in the Tampa Bay area and The First Year Plan is an exclusive offer local families providing families with priceless memories during that treasured first year.
The beginning of a new chapter in your life is always one filled with joy, excitement and most of all, anticipation. With the arrival of a new baby chances are, you will spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on baby furniture, clothes and even toys. And while many of these things are necessary, almost all of them will at some point be re-sold, given away or even tossed in the trash. What will you keep forever? The priceless images you invested in throughout the years your baby grows. Professional, timeless, quality images are not something to be taken lightly. These will be your memories that will be passed down and valued for your life time and your baby’s.
This plan puts families on VIP status guaranteeing sessions to capture the precious newborn stage (between 5-14 days of birth), the sitting up/crawling milestones (usually between 7-9 months) and the very important first birthday session (during child’s birthday month).
Tracy’s personality and style create contemporary yet timeless images that will last a lifetime. Her sense of style will make each session unique in its own way yet at the same time, all of your first year images will flow to create a story that will be forever cherished.
She focuses on providing custom art work for your walls and products that can be touched and held. She wants her families to take home ready to display images that will be enjoyed for years to come. While digital files are available the focuses of each session is to create beautiful art, albums and treasured folio boxes that will display your family images in the way they are meant to be shared.
The weekend is about to start and we want to bring you this heartwarming session that is all about Collin and his brother! As part of their First Year Plan, they had so much fun at the studio with Tracy. you can totally see how full of energy they both are, they love each other and you can totally feel it through the photographs. The first year has been an amazing journey for the family and bonding with his brother has been one of the most important times of the year!
Collin is now starting to sit up and walk and his brother is right there next to him, the entire family is so proud, it definitely brought some special moments in the studio. So full of love! And don’t forget the cake at the end, Collin ate his very first birthday cake as soon as he got the chance to play with it.

OMG! These 2 are hilarious! As a Tampa family Photographer I have been SO lucky to photograph them since the they were both newborns. I don’t think we have missed even one year. They are both crazy, funny and SO much fun! After 8 years of following them through their little lives I have literally watched them grow up before my eyes. It is fun to find new places to have sessions… we have done local parks, clearwater beaches, Tampa universities, the TGP studio and now downtown Tampa. We just did a little story on their session from last year here.… My heart is full when I get to spend time with them and mom gets a break since I take them off on my own. Their personalities crack me up and I LOVE that they know me and are comfortable with me. There is always lots of laughing and giggles throughout the time we spend together and you can see how fun they are in this picture as he reacts to a silly secret his sister told him!
During the session, unprompted by me, big sister asked me to take a pretty picture of the flowers she picked…. how perfectly girl like and sweet…
Now for the funny part….. a little later in the session, Mr “C” asked me to take a picture of….
yes…. the ANT crawling on his arm! LOL! TOTAL girl and boy representation there! I am fairly sure that the picture of this ant will NOT be a large portrait above the fireplace BUT I bet it makes it into and album page because it is SOOO him and shows exactly what both of these awesome kids are like at this age! And after all, isn’t that what portrait sessions are all about?
(Clearwater family photographer) This family was so much fun and their little man was “on the GO”! 🙂 He kept our session “quick and to the point”! LOL! Both kids were full of personality and so much fun to spend time with (oh- and mom and dad were great to :))! Their session was a special gift from a family member, it is always a great thing to remember that pictures are a gift that will NEVER be forgotten or regretted! TGP can help you with the perfect gift to suit your needs. Now for the sneak peaks for this special family… (clearwater family photographer)
(clearwater family photographer) This family paid a visit to the Clearwater studio several days ago. They were so much fun to work with and the kids were amazing! Loving their portraits thought it would be fun to share a few! (clearwater family photographer)
(clearwater beach photographer) Not only was this family super nice and fun but beautiful as well! They kids were just darling and I had a blast chasing them around the beach with my camera! Beach sessions are such an amazing way to not only create beautiful portraits but also to capture timeless memories. Making the session fun and interactive for the whole family is a great way to get the kids and parents relaxed and feeling at ease infront of the camera. Of course we always work to get the classic smiling portraits but my favorites and many time my clients favorites end up being the ones that show true personality. That may include giggling and tickling pictures or even a serious expression that tugs at moms heartstrings. It’s those faces that only moms (and sometimes dads :)) know and love. This family was vacationing here and I hope that our session together was a highlight of their trip and one they will not forget. I know it was a highlight of my week! 🙂 Their next big challenge will be when they receive their gallery in the next day or so and have to make decisions on what to invest in! Believe me when I say it will be a tough choice! LOVE this session! (clearwater beach photographer)
(clearwater family photographer)This is a special family that I have know for many years. My husband is lucky to have one of these several faces as the manager of his company Magnifying Aids. She has been a blessing to the company and our family. It was a pleasure to be able to photograph her family and her extended family in the studio. Their personalities show right through into their images and that is one of the many things I love about them. I must put a *disclaimer* on the last photograph though 🙂 there is NO actual choking going on, lol! See the “little” guy with the hat? He insisted that we do The Simpson family pose. Since I have never watched any episode of The Simpsons I let him pose and direct the shot. I hope he likes it :)… I’m sure at his age, that one will be his favorite! (clearwater family photographer)
This mom is “on the ball” she is getting portraits taken as a surprise for dad for Christmas! What a great idea! Anyway, we battled some wind and sand spurs but overall had a great time! The weather (minus the wind) was great and the sun was oh so bright! Hope you enjoy your sneak peak “K” family…. hope dad doesn’t see this 🙂
Happy 5th Anniversary to this great couple! We actually had their session on their anniversary, they were so awesome and we had a blast! There was lots of kissing 🙂 and I love how their images show so much emotion, you can “feel the love”! I hope your anniversary dinner was wonderful, enjoy your sneak peak!
Wow- what a session or half of a session I should say! After a mushy, mucky beach, gathering dark rainy clouds, a nice but graceful (ha!) fall from the photographer (yes, thats me!) and then some serious technical difficulties that actually ended the session early and caused us to schedule the other half another day…. I thought this awesome family deserved a quick post of a few of the images we did manage to get!
LOVE this family! I am so happy that I have been able to watch their little one grow through out the year and it’s hard to believe that she is more than half way through the TGP New Beginnings Plan . Although all Florida weather is hot right now it was still a great night with a great location for this session! Thank you for being so patient “M” family… I promise your gallery is on its way soon! 🙂
Wow- This was such a great session. This totally in love couple joined their families together on the beach one gorgeous morning. The ceremony was so simple but SO touching! It was just them and their closest family, the minister and me. Their love for their children and each other is so obvious to anyone that is lucky enough to spend any time with them. Not to mention their glowing “beauty” :)…. I could have photographed them all day if they would have let me but for whatever reason the kids were not up for a full day of pictures…. imagine that! 🙂 We had lots of fun though for the time we did spend together. Enjoy your sneak peak “L” family…. I truly enjoyed our session and can’t wait for you to see your gallery. It will be ready soon, I promise!
Nothing like being shot a by a flower! 🙂 He was so funny the whole time and even ended up in the water up to his head by the end of the morning!
Ahhhh… weather, the topic of conversations these days! It is finally warming up but it wasn’t quite soon enough for this family. It was SUPER windy and cold for these “troopers” but they hung in there and kept it going until the end! I thought about blogging a few outtakes with everyone’s hair in their faces and the kids teeth chattering but I decided to spare the family the painful reminder 🙂 Thankfully we did get lots of great photos and we will just pretend the like the wind was a fan blowing to make everyone look glamorous! 🙂 Enjoy!
It was so great to be part of this families Florida vacation. Especially since this was their kids FIRST trip ever to the beach! How awesome to be able to be a part of it and capture those great moments! These kids were awesome and even though it was REALLY windy and chilly the boys were so excited. The littlest one (two years old) ended up in the car with dad to keep warm but I think the older boys could have stayed out there all night, even braving the water!
So many beach sessions lately and they are SO windy and cold! 🙁 This particular night wasn’t to bad and we were lucky enough that even though it rained (I mean RAINED!) ALL day, it cleared up just in time to head out to the beach. It was such a fun session even though the littlest member of the family DID NOT like the sand! Infact, he ended up with his shoes on as he basically refused to walk with them off. Hey, when your two years old, you have ways of getting what you want! 🙂 Anyway, heres a few sneak peaks for mom and dad (they already got a quick sneak peak on facebook… join the fan club at www.facebook.com/tracygabbard)!
Did the leprachauns visit your house today? For whatever reason they always visit ours when the kids are at school! They sure leave a mess but they make up for it with fun treats! Happy St. Patty’s day everyone!
Leslie! I have been getting my hair done by Leslie for many years now. I don’t know why it has taken me so long to tell everyone about her. Her salon is awesome and she has the best web site www.got2haveglam.com. I mean really what hair stylist has their own web site. There are few coupons on it under “specials” . Anyway, she is AWESOME with color and styling and is always on the “cutting edge” (like that:)) of all the new styles, colors and products! Make an appointment and tell her I sent you!
A special thank you to my wonderful clients! I love seeing all the repeat clients and meeting new ones each year! It was a great season for Tracy Gabbard Photography and I look forward to growing this year with lots of new clients. January is already starting to book so if you are having a baby or want “milestone” pics for those little ones be sure to call and schedule soon! I am looking forward to photographing for some local charity events this coming year and would like to add a few more to my schedule. So, if you know of one coming up that needs photographer send me an email with the info and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Here is a quick recap of the literally hundreds of holidays cards that went out by TGP and a few more peaks at some of my favorite holiday images that I couldn’t share in blogging as I never know what ends up on holiday cards. Have a great holiday everyone!
This was a great session in a small downtown area! This “little man” has been modeling for years and has even been in a national commercial (you can see why!)! Mom needed a few updated head shots and wanted some “mom and son” pictures as it is SO rare for moms to actually be in the pictures (I totally get that one!). I love the setting in these and the night was so beautiful if it wasn’t for the sunlight getting low I could have kept this session going for a long time! Its so easy to work with older children and adults! 🙂 I forget that sometimes! Enjoy your sneak peak mom and your gallery will be there by the end of the week!
Last but not least…. we played a little trick. I counted to three and mom splashed him…. he was a little surprised to say the least! 🙂
A touch of fall… or autumn I should say. That is what I felt like when this family joined me in studio with their awesome clothing colors! These colors look so warm and “rich” I really enjoyed the change of pace! This littlest member of this family was part of my “Littlest Model Search” over the summer (which I plan to have again soon…stay tuned for details!) and now has become part of the New Beginnings Plan which will give him sessions with TGP throughout his whole first year. Anyway, this was his 3 month session and it was decided that we would try for some family photos also. And although, in my opinion 3 months is one of the hardest ages to capture, look at this beautiful family and adorable 3 month old! Why is 3 months so hard? Because they are not sitting yet but they are past that “curling up” stage. They have NO control over their limbs which constantly swing infront of their adorable little faces and although they are super smiley face to face they become mesmerized with the camera the moment it goes in front of them. They are however, super squishy and loveable and that is why I don’t care how hard they are to photograph… I love to do it anyway! Enjoy a sneak peak “L” family! Gallery is coming quickly!
Now, I know that in most families the kids are the center of attention. But in this session I was lucky enough to capture it! We had a great time at this session hanging out and “playing”. It took little “Miss Thang” about 2 minutes to warm up and “turn it on”! And then I pulled out the FAN! I don’t know what it is about that fan but once that comes out…. all bets are off! I never know what is going to emerge from the model of the moment…even for 4 year olds! Once that was out she didn’t want me to turn it off. Here is a quick sneak peak of all the fun!
I knew this was going to be a great session when I left the room to let the family get changed and they were laughing and having a great time together! Many dads come to sessions with the “do I have to be here attitude” and sometimes that really shows through in the images. But this dad was awesome! Patient, involved, interested and it really helped create a fun relaxing session. The rest of the family including the kiddos were just as fun and I think I even heard a “that was fun” comment after the session… that is the best compliment a photographer can get! Thank you “L” family for a great session! I really had the hardest time choosing what images to blog as there are SO many great ones I can’t wait for you to see the rest!
This is one of my favorite in studio shots ever! I love it!
Can you see the drool in the second picture below? Caught it just as it is dripping down! To funny!
Then the real fun started…. we pulled out the fan, cranked up the music and the girls “turned it on”! They were a blast!
Remember the beach session that was rained out? Well, here it is again… this time MUCH more successful! I know why mom (fellow photographer friend…Tara- www.tarafriedley.com) is so skinny because she has two busy and I mean BUSY boys! They were LOVING the beach and all the freedom that goes with it. Here are a few sneak peaks for mom and dad as I know they are waiting patiently!
Okay- I know that it looks like a lot of work and I can’t say this was an “easy” session but wow! SO much fun! Five kids ages 12, 7, 4, 3, and 1…. and ALL of them were great! I think a video tape of this session would have made u-tube.. two crazy people, a photographer and a mom trying to get all the kids attention at once! FUNNY! There are SO many great life style images and mom will love them all but she did want ONE where they were all looking and happy so we did our best to accomplish that! She will be happy to know that we actually have more than one but I am only posting one of those “classics” for this post as I want to give a sneak peak of the kids and share some FUNNY outtakes, make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post for a good laugh! Gallery coming soon “N” family!
The little guy was not so crazy about the grass…. but he sure looks cute trying to get out of it!
And last but not least…. these two images crack me up every time I look at them!
So I know that this mom has been waiting on pins and needles for sneak peak! She would NEVER say anything to me but I know she has been wondering when… and because I am delayed in getting this to her I will post a couple extra images! She knows I am right! 🙂 Anyway, another great beach session with out the sunset! I am thinking the sun is hiding from me these days. It seems as if the evenings I am not out on a session the sunsets are just beautiful! Either way, these turned out great! Enjoy a few extra images “G” family and you can look forward to getting your gallery this week! Thanks for being patient!
Look how “engaged” daughter and daddy are together! I love when I can capture those moments! It’s like they forgot I was even there!
Look at her face on this first image below…. PURE JOY!
Last but not least… mommy and “baby”! This little one (who I am sure you have seen many times on the blog) was all about daddy that night but at the end as she was winding down she “turned on” all that love that “babies” have for their mommies! I love the second image… I can just feel my own daughter looking at me when I hold her and nothing else exists but her and I for that brief moment.
Sneak Peak of Santa mini session update! I had 2 families change from a the Sneak Peak of Santa mini session to full family sessions. That opened up a couple of spots for it! If you are interested or know a family that might be please let them send them my way. These are so much fun and are really a great deal for everything you get. Take a quick look at the details and if you need more call or email. I don’t expect the openings to stay open long! There is also a sample card (each session gets its own custom created card) and a few images from previous sessions to see for an idea of what Sneak Peak of Santa is! It really is one of a kind and as far as I know Tracy Gabbard Photography is the only local photographer doing it!
