A seriously beautiful family! (tampa family photographer)

WOW is all I can say about these images from this fun tampa family!  I could have blogged MANY more great images of them but had to stop at some point.  I did throw in a few extra because they have been patiently waiting for their sneak peak and gallery! 🙂  I am starting to get caught up from the holiday madness and hope to be back to blogging more frequently. Anyway, this family was SO much fun.  They have 2 BUSY boys kept me on my toes but gave me amazing expressions and interactions each other.  You would think the location was in a beautiful woodsy area with the sun shining down on the tops of the fall colored leaves, but NO, it was in fact, an area on the side of a side road in their neighborhood!  The colors are fantastic and the area was perfect for this family!  Anyway, enjoy these fun images!

I’m back! (tampa family photographer)

Wow…it’s been a wonderful, whirlwind of a season and I am so thankful for my amazing repeat and new clients!  I have lots of holiday sessions to post but don’t want to ruin any holiday card surprises so I will save that for another post very soon.  I think things have slowed down just enough to share some super fun images from this amazing family!  What makes them even more amazing than being a family of 5, coordinating their outfits, dragging grandma and grandpa along and doing all this for their session AFTER sitting through the babies christening that morning?  Dad serves our amazing country! Yes, he is in the military and they are stationed here, in Tampa, for a bit.  I am so lucky they chose me to capture their special day and their kids…. SO adorable and fun.  Thanks to this family for all their sacrifices and for being so patient to see their images as your session got caught right in the middle of holiday madness.  Your gallery is on it’s way and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak! 🙂

Oh baby, baby with the big blue eyes (tampa, cleawater baby photographer)

Oh those eyes are so beautiful!  This little guy was so easy going.  He hung in there and pulled off a great 3 month session.  From about 3 weeks until babies sit up (about 6 months) is the hardest age to photograph.  They don’t curl up anymore like those first weeks of newborn, they loose control of their arms and legs so they kind of fly around and although they interact with mom and dad and familiar faces they are mesmerized with a big camera lens so catching that charming smile is almost impossible.  All that being said…. look at this little one.  He was amazing!  We even got a quick smile out of him and wow… what a great picture!  This clearwater family was so much fun and so obviously smitten with their adorable baby (who wouldn’t be… look at him!).

Speechless… (tampa newborn photographer)

There are no words to explain this baby and his peacefulness.  He slept the entire session and continued to sleep even after we were done.  These proud parents (and visiting grandparents) were so proud and easy going.  It was a joy to meet them and share in their joy.  As I always, I love when families incorporate important heirlooms or special keepsakes into their sessions.  It makes the sessions that much more special and the images have special meaning.  This new daddy and his own dad share three generation wedding rings.  They really wanted to show this so with some tricky maneuvering we were able to get some wonderful images.  AND to top it off, right at the end of the session dad says “do you think we could do anything with my mustang?”  DO YOU THINK?  OF COURSE… twist my arm!  Ha! 🙂  I only included one sneak peak of that amazing, fun prop.  Newborn sessions are not always this easy, not every baby sleeps like this but you have the best chance if you have your babies session with in 5 days of birth.  This family is part of the TGP New Beginnings Plan that will take them up through the babies first birthday with sessions. I can’t wait to see this little guy again!

Surprise for daddy! (clearwater family photographer)

This mom is “on the ball” she is getting portraits taken as a surprise for dad for Christmas!  What a great idea!  Anyway, we battled some wind and sand spurs but overall had a great time!  The weather (minus the wind) was great and the sun was oh so bright!  Hope you enjoy your sneak peak “K” family…. hope dad doesn’t see this 🙂

Newborn session (tampa newborn photographer)

Wow!  This little guy was not tired while I visited but we worked on his schedule and got some great images for mom and dad to cherish.  They are part of the TGP New Beginnings Plan which takes your precious little one through their first birthday with photo sessions.  It is a wonderful plan for new moms and dads as they change so much in the first year.  It is a wonderful gift as well if you are looking for something that will last a lifetime for that special baby on the way.  Many dads surprise the new mommy to be and grandparents often give this plan as a gift as well.

Tampa Family (tampa family photographer)

What a great family!  I love meeting new clients and I really love when the dads (yes, I said dads for all you men who hate going to family photo sessions :)) are totally into it and don’t mind spending an hour or so to capture their family as it is, just like this dad was.  I know he is not in a picture but it is not because he wasn’t in them the parents requested for only their precious children to be “blogged”!  And precious, the little one is but beautiful describes the older girls I think a bit better! You can only image how the little guy has all these tampa girls wrapped around his finger!  The love between them was obvious.  To this family, thank you for a fun session and your gallery will be to this week! 🙂

Happy 1st Birthday Little One! (tampa children’s photographer)

I love being a Tampa children photographer and I am so sad that this precious little girl is graduating from the New Beginnings Collection!  It has been a great year watching her grow into the little toddler that she has become.  We celebrated her birthday in first class style with cake and balloons.  She was so fascinated with the balloons that I think I she must be looking up in half of the images!  She was less than interested in her cake but she played in it long enough for some really fun pictures.  I will miss this Tampa family but I am sure I will see them in the near future for some more fun sessions.

Mini Session update- The date for the Sneak Peak of Santa mini session has changed to November 13th.  There are still some openings.  More information here…. Also there are a few openings left for Holiday at the Park mini’s.

Now for the fun stuff….

Family Play Date (tampa family photographer)

One of my favorite families that I have the pleasure of photographing every year!  Another wonderful location with great trees, scenery and we lucked out with great weather!  Although this was not a Tampa location (more like Tarpon Springs) it was beautiful.  Here are just a few (ha!)…

On a side note…. have you received the TGP newsletter via email?  If not make sure to sign up here (bottom right hand corner of the screen).  It has all the mini session info in it (which hasn’t been blogged or facebooked yet) and spots are already filling up.  If you do receive the newsletter make sure to forward it to friends you think might be interested.  If you want a quick peak of the mini sessions log directly on to www.tracygabbard.com and see the info there.  Families are welcome for the park mini sessions and there is always the ever popular Sneak Peak of Santa for the little ones!

Park Fun! (tampa family photographer)

Do I say this about every post?  It was SOOOO hard to choose what images to post!  This family was so much fun and made my job super easy!  I have photographed lots of tampa/clearwater familes and older “kids” lately and I just can’t believe how they stay where you put them! 🙂  Being a family photographer is so much fun but I am usually running around like a crazy person trying to keep kids attention and keep them engaged with me.  With “older” kids I just run around like a crazy person for no reason!  I must say, the weather is also getting better for the earlier morning and later evening sessions.  They are not so hot.  Here is a little peak for this patient family!  Gallery is following up really soon!

Stunning! (tampa maternity photographer)

Wow… I had the most difficult time trying to decide what images to blog from this Tampa maternity session!  This special mommy to be is a member of the exclusive TGP New Beginnings Plan.  Maternity sessions are so special and each one is unique to the new mom.  This Tampa maternity session was no different!  This couple was amazing to work with and so much fun.  We had perfect Tampa weather for this maternity session(okay, well maybe there were just a few drops of rain but they were quick to leave us).  In order to make a really great maternity session it is always good to have a few changes of clothing.  I have a few things as well that I always bring, just in case.  I also LOVE when my families, pregnant mommies and high school seniors incorporate personal items into their session.  This maternity session included a pair of baby shoes (shown below) that “daddy” wore as a little guy.  As a Tampa maternity photographer I love to have sessions all over the Tampa area.  The Tampa bay beaches always provide us with beautiful images but other fun “Tampa” places are Ybor City (or any local downtown area), local parks and many families choose their own homes for sessions.  That makes it really personal!  Anyway, here is  a big ole’ sneak peak for this couple as I could not choose any less images to share.  There are so many more great ones!

FUN! (tampa family photographer)

Fun is the word for this session as you can probably tell!  This little guy (well I guess he is not really that little) was such a crack up!  Being a Tampa family photographer and photographing lots of families I love it when the children are easy going and interactive.  They often times are the heart of the session (as children often are the heart of everything!), helping to create timeless portraits.  There are so many great places in Tampa for families and this session had sentimental value for the family.  That makes the portraits even more meaningful.  I met this family when searching for health insurance for my family.  Sam has been terrific!  I highly recommend him and his services.  He is easy to work with and has a wealth of great information for his clients.  Check out his web site at http://www.healthlifenetwork.com/.  For a little bit more TGP information I am trying to get holiday mini sessions organized so look for that coming soon.  And have you signed up for the Tracy Gabbard Photography newsletter?  If not, be sure to go to the home page of the web site and sign up!  Great stuff in there!  Now for a sneak peak for this Tampa family before they get their gallery….

High School Senior Photography 2011 (tampa, dunedin high school senior photography)

I love photographing all high school seniors this one came from the tampa/dunedin area!  As much of my photography is family and children (which I of course love as well!) it is fun to have a “subject” that actually stays where you put them! 🙂  This senior from Dunedin High School is an awesome baseball player with a cool car!  We had some fun at a local baseball field and instead of trying to change locations we made the most of the area we were at!  I think we accomplished lots of different looks and fun images.  Tampa high school seniors DO have a choice for senior portraits.  Yes, they MUST go to the contracted photography company for the yearbook picture BUT there is NO obligation to purchase.  Save your money and choose a custom tampa photographer (preferably TGP of course!)  that can offer lots more choices and time so that each senior can be themselves and have images from this special year that they can be proud of and that represent who they are. Being a tampa high school senior photographer, I always encourage seniors to bring things such as clothes, hobby items, pets, etc… that they love.  These make the photos more personable and unique.  It’s also fun to have some changes of clothes.  Even a school t-shirt of their high school or the college they will attending.  TGP offers amazing Senior albums that combine images from the whole session.  They are wonderful keepsakes that will last a life time.  Check out a sample album HERE.  On another “note” have you received the new TGP “E” letter?  It is full of great information, upcoming specials, reminders and soon Holiday Mini sessions and at times info on high school senior photography to! Yeah! If you haven’t received it sign up at the bottom right hand corner of this page and you will be added to the list.  I am even going to start adding a section on how to take better pictures with your own camera!  Lots of “chit chat” in this blog post about tampa, dunedin high school senior photography, and other things, now lets get to the fun stuff…. great tampa, dunedin high school senior pictures!

Happy Anniversary! (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Happy 5th Anniversary to this great couple!  We actually had their session on their anniversary, they were so awesome and we had a blast! There was lots of kissing 🙂 and I love how their images show so much emotion, you can “feel the love”! I hope your anniversary dinner was wonderful, enjoy your sneak peak!

Well deserved blog post (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Wow- what a session or half of a session I should say!  After a mushy, mucky beach, gathering dark  rainy clouds, a nice but graceful (ha!) fall from the photographer (yes, thats me!) and then some serious technical difficulties that actually ended the session early and caused us to schedule the other half another day…. I thought this awesome family deserved a quick post of a few of the images we did manage to get!

High School Senior and generation pictures (tampa, clearwater photographer)

This lovely family traveled all the way from Tennessee just for me! Well, maybe not JUST for me but pictures were definitely in the plans!  I am so honored to photograph this young lady at this special time in her life as she enters her senior year of High School.  They even brought “Gigi” for the fun.  Love the generation pictures!

LOVE this family!  I am so happy that I have been able to watch their little one grow through out the year and it’s hard to believe that she is more than half way through the TGP New Beginnings Plan .  Although all Florida weather is hot right now it was still a great night with a great location for this session!  Thank you for being so patient “M” family… I promise your gallery is on its way soon! 🙂

Just in the “nick” of time (tampa, clearwater maternity, family photographer)

Just in the nick of time were we able to squeeze this session in.  Can you believe that this mommy is due one week from the day we had this session…. yes, she looks amazing!  It was such a fun session and this is a fast sneak peak as I promised one before the baby is born…. I am just making it I think!  Can’t wait for your newborn session and I will follow up with a gallery here soon! 🙂

Gorgeous! (tampa, clearwater family beach photographer)

Wow- This was such a great session.  This totally in love couple joined their families together on the beach one gorgeous morning.  The ceremony was so simple but SO touching!  It was just them and their closest family, the minister and me.  Their love for their children and each other is so obvious to anyone that is lucky enough to spend any time with them.  Not to mention their glowing “beauty” :)…. I could have photographed them all day if they would have let me but for whatever reason the kids were not up for a full day of pictures…. imagine that! 🙂  We had lots of fun though for the time we did spend together.  Enjoy your sneak peak “L” family…. I truly enjoyed our session and can’t wait for you to see your gallery.  It will be ready soon, I promise!

Three=triplets (tampa, clearwater newborn photograher)

I never know what to expect when walking into a session.  So, predicting what a session with triplets was impossible since I have never photographed triplets before!  I must say it was MY PLEASURE!  These babies were amazing!  They were 8 weeks (which any photographer will tell you starts the beginning of the hardest age to photograph) and they were awesome!  Yes, there were tears, breaks and heat but the babies were such troopers.  They have been down a long road since the beginning of their little lives but they are happy and healthy…. little miracles!  I am so happy to give mom, dad and family some quick sneak peaks here….

Baby Bump! (clearwater, tampa maternity photographer)

I often say, one of the best parts of the job is meeting new clients. And it was such a pleasure to meet this “mommy and daddy to be” after several phone conversations and lots of emails!  She owns a great local florist shop in Dunedin so we of course had to incorporate lots of flowers into her session…. to many to blog!  But check out her web site and stop by her shop in Dunedin sometime  wwww.floristofthenorthwoods.com!  For now, enjoy a sneak peak!

How cool is that to incorporate your logo into your session?

Family (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Ahhhh… weather, the topic of conversations these days!  It is finally warming up but it wasn’t quite soon enough for this family.  It was SUPER windy and cold for these “troopers” but they hung in there and kept it going until the end! I thought about blogging a few outtakes with everyone’s hair in their faces and the kids teeth chattering but I decided to spare the family the painful reminder 🙂  Thankfully we did get lots of great photos and we will just pretend the like the wind was a fan blowing to make everyone look glamorous! 🙂  Enjoy!

Isn’t she beautiful! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

I had such a great time with this Senior for her in studio session but such a hard time narrowing down her images for a blog post!  She made them all look awesome!  Congrats to this 2010 graduate! Also- don’t forget to join me on facebook at www.facebook.com/tracygabbbard!  Always love to get new fans! 🙂

Windy but wonderful! (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

It was so great to be part of this families Florida vacation.  Especially since this was their kids FIRST trip ever to the beach!  How awesome to be able to be a part of it and capture those great moments!  These kids were awesome and even though it was REALLY windy and chilly the boys were so excited.  The littlest one (two years old) ended up in the car with dad to keep warm but I think the older boys could have stayed out there all night, even braving the water!
