Anyway, my soon to be niece is in that tummy and I can’t wait for her to arrive (which we are hoping any day now (she is due on 9-10-11… isn’t that cool? Especially since it is my husbands bday) we are hoping she will be early… of course! (tampa photographer) This couple is celebrating their 50 year wedding anniversary! How awesome is that? They were SOO much fun to work with and I truly enjoyed getting to know them. It is such a great part of my job being able to meet so many people. This couple is still so in love (at least they acted like it 🙂 and the “Mr” sure has some “wit” as he kept me laughing through out the whole session! (tampa newborn photographer) I know from this post it looks like this little angel slept almost the entire time BUT I have to say she was the most calm awake baby I have ever photographed. She was awake A LOT but she would lay just how I put her with her BIG bright eyes. She was truly beautiful and amazing to photograph. She started crying at the very end but who can blame her, I mean I was leaving! 🙂 I can’t wait for her next session! As I adjust to a new more part time summer schedule I have to thank this new mommy and daddy for being patient waiting for their sneak peak and gallery. (clearwater beach family photographer) Seriously, I am so lucky to have the most beautiful families as clients! I think one of my toughest jobs is narrowing down images for a blog post! There are SOOO many great ones of this family that I could post their whole gallery! These precious children were so much fun. The best sessions happen when a family is happy to be together and everyone (including dad :)) is able to enjoy the moment. A photo shoot should not only create great images but also create a wonderful lasting memory for the family. Many families enjoy ice cream or dinner afterwards making the whole evening a fun event instead of a “the dreaded photo session”. I love to keep everyone moving and busy with “posed” pictures turning into fun candid’s that turn into giggles and snuggles. His personality has helped make his sessions amazing. I have the hardest time narrowing down his images for a blog post and I always have a hard time with those smash cake sessions. The images from those are so fun and I always want to show them all. So, I did my best to make this a peak at his session but I think it’s more like a full view! Ha! (clearwater family photographer)This is a special family that I have know for many years. My husband is lucky to have one of these several faces as the manager of his company Magnifying Aids. She has been a blessing to the company and our family. It was a pleasure to be able to photograph her family and her extended family in the studio. Their personalities show right through into their images and that is one of the many things I love about them. I must put a *disclaimer* on the last photograph though 🙂 there is NO actual choking going on, lol! See the “little” guy with the hat? He insisted that we do The Simpson family pose. Since I have never watched any episode of The Simpsons I let him pose and direct the shot. I hope he likes it :)… I’m sure at his age, that one will be his favorite! (clearwater family photographer)

She has been with me since I started this amazing journey, being one of my first sessions way back when! She is always so much fun and gets easier every year! Her images have been (and still are) on the web site and they have “graced” the blog and facebook many times! (clearwater beach photographer) Yes, it was windy, yes it was slightly chilly and yes, it was cloudy BUT what a great session with this awesome family! I LOVE being able to document families at the beach. Especially when it is the kids first experience! Little kids have such a difficult time in the evenings (especially when on vacation) but these kids were such troopers! They played hard in the sand and water during our time together and I couldn’t have enjoyed watching them more. Thank you to this great family for having me capture such special moments for you! (tampa baby photographer) So, as a photographer I LOVE on location sessions… I find that I can be more creative, it is some what more challenging and I enjoy all that a location has to offer for sessions. HOWEVER, I am LOVING the new studio! I have started sessions there and it is awesome! I will be posting pictures in the next month or so as the finishing touches are completed. Can’t wait to share them with everyone! I am scheduling summer sessions BUT they are limited. I will be taking some much needed time off throughout the summer to spend with my family and re energize for the upcoming holiday season (yes, I said HOLIDAY :)). So, if you have been thinking about scheduling something for the summer make sure to call soon as session time will be limited. Now on to the good stuff…. look at this little guy! He was a blast the day he visited the studio and because he is part of the TGP New Beginnings Plan I thought it would be fun to post a newborn and 6 month picture next to each other! I photograph many babies and at this age most of them do love to eat their feet (which I LOVE) but this little one…. he REALLY loved his toes! In fact, we could hardly keep his feet out of his mouth. It was so funny I had to share more than usual amount of pictures. You can just see him looking at those adorable toes and then the urge to get then in his mouth. At one point mom held him back so he couldn’t lean forward to eat them so as you will see…. he just brought them up to his mouth! She choose to go for two sessions (in studio and on location) to make the most of these once in a life time images and she did a great job! She brought lots of outfits, props, her bunny and even her sisters to the beach! It’s no secret I LOVE when clients bring special things with them to sessions. I will post images of that in the next few weeks as I finish up the details and put all the finishing touches in place! So, far all sessions in studio have been natural light which will probably mean the only sessions that will need studio light will be evening or really cloudy days. Anyway, these two love birds were so connected and happy it made for an easy going, laid back atmosphere helping to create awesome images that really shows their excitement and love for each other and the little one coming their way! He slept almost the whole time with a few breaks for some food…. he has to keep those little leg and arm rolls full of course! I love my job…. I mean, who wouldn’t love playing with these babies all the time? They are all so amazing and such a reminder of how precious the newborn time is. Especially since it fly’s by so fast and before you know it, its gone! 🙁 This family is part of the TGP New Begininngs Plan that will take him with sessions all the way up through the first birthday. It’s always so much fun to get to know these “kids” and most of their time a member of their family comes for support as well. This great senior brought along mom and a best friend. Even though they are not in the sneak peak they jumped in a few shots and had some fun with her! It’s so much fun to watch these seniors loosen up as their session goes on. I love smash cake sessions and this one was certainly NO exception. As long as the birthday child is fine with getting a little messy, the images are just priceless and completely IMPOSSIBLE to narrow down to a reasonable number for mom and dad. There are so many more great images it was hard to choose for sharing. His first birthday party is coming soon so I wanted to get few up for his family to share. I’ve been photographing this little on since she was a baby and she “graces” the galleries on the TGP website frequently! Infact, there are usually so many great ones from her session I just switch them out now and then when I update the galleries. I LOVE getting to see her every year and watching her grow. She is hilarious and kept me chuckling the whole session. We called our session an adventure and walked the streets of downtown Dunedin until she started to throw her candy at me! Ha! I think at that point she was done but what a trooper and she was a blast! We were lucky enough to have that perfect weather that has been blessing the Tampa area right now and we found some great spots for some fun pictures. Being a tampa and surrounding areas childrens photographer is a blessing and I am so lucky to have clients that trust me to create priceless images for them. I can’t wait for next year (or sooner) :)!
I love the maternity sessions with my New Beginnings Collection members. It’s great to finally get to meet them (if we haven’t already) and spend some time getting to know them and maternity sessions are just the time to do that. The next time I meet them they have a baby and we all know how the rest of the sessions go from there 🙂 Personal, “getting to know you” chit chat is VERY minimal as EVERYTHING is now about that precious little life! Its fun to watch these couples grown with their babies through out the year. This couple was special in many ways but one of them is that they have chosen to WAIT (yes, I said WAIT) until the baby is born to find out what it is! Okay- that tells me they will be amazing parents, to wait for that bit of news tells me that they have amazing patience! A trait we all know is a must have for kids! Anyway, I can’t wait to find out what they are having but I will have to wait with everyone else. At least I am on their “Call list” when the baby is born so I can find out right away! 🙂

Look at this little peanut! I love taking a couple of the same “set ups” in each session for the babies in the TGP New Beginnings Plan so you can really see the growth throughout the year. When families mix on location sessions with studio throughout the year it makes it a little more challenging but we work it out! I love having all these babies in the Tampa Bay area and being able to watch them grow into little toddlers. LOOOVE this little guy! We have had several sessions now and he is always so fun and full of personality. I love editing his sessions as I am stuck with a permanent smile on my face the whole time. He is part of the TGP New Beginnings Plan and I have been lucky enough to photograph him since he was in his mama’s tummy. You can see the maternity session here and his newborn session here… His next session will be at one year 🙁 and then he will be a graduate of this great plan! Thats the worst part of the deal for me… not getting to see these precious little gifts as often anymore! Anyway, this plan is a great gift for a special someone you know that is expecting (hint, hint, daddies and grandparents!). It is truly a gift that will last a life time! I could never choose my favorite sessions as each one brings something special each time! The newborn sessions are just amazing and then the sitting up ones (usually right around 6 months) are SO much fun since their little personalities have developed and that shows right through to the images (they aren’t usually crawling yet either so that makes it fun to :)) and then the one year smash cake sessions are always a blast. They require a little more chasing usually but the outcome is SO worth it! Oh enough babble heres what you really want to see….

BRRRR! But she ROCKED it! You would never know that it was windy and COLD on the beach this night! This high school senior was SO much fun and so was her family that joined us to keep us company! She was willing to do anything and in between warming up in a jacket braved the cold in short sleeves and tank tops! She even got a little wet in the water… just a little but I know it was SO cold! And a shout out to the class of 2011…the end of the year is fast approaching so if you live or travel to Tampa, Clearwater or surrounding areas…. get your groove on and schedule your Senior sessions with TGP NOW! 🙂

So, when this tampa mom called me to chat about a newborn session these were a few of her questions… “can you come to my home on a ranch?, can we incorporate a saddle?, can older brother be in a few images because they have matching wrangler shirts?, I have some newborn hats, can we use them? I love the outside images, can we use the ranch land?” ….. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YES, YES and YES! I LOVE outside newborn sessions, I love beautiful land (what photographer doesn’t), I love family props (especially saddles :)) and I love newborn hats and accessories! Dream session….. So, how did this session go? Well, we had a baby that just WAS NOT tired which makes for a much longer session for family, it was chilly outside so we could only shoot a couple outside, newly older brother would not participate in ANY pictures unless the saddle was involved and his brother was NOT in them (typical two year old) so, dream session…. STILL came out dreamy! LOVE these images and although it was impossible to create all the ideas I had for all the reasons above it was still a wonderful experience meeting this family helping to create lasting memories. To this special family- I hope you enjoy your sneak peak…. I know your little one has already changed so much in these couple short weeks!

I try not to blog to many holiday sessions since I know many of the images end up on Christmas cards and I certainly don’t want to spoil any of those surprises.
