Summer is coming and I want to be creative with some give aways. What does that mean?

It means that 6 lucky families/individuals will be the recipients of a complimentary session that could include professional hair and make up for mom or participating woman! Tracy will select (2) per month for June, July and August! The sessions can be ANY of these types of sessions;⁠

1. Family (with any age children)⁠
2. Newborn⁠
3. First Birthday (or other “milestone” session)⁠
4. BRANDING or Headshot session⁠
5. Women’s beauty session (not boudoir) i.e. having a milestone birthday (30, 40, 50 etc…), divorce, new job, or just want to celebrate “you” with beautiful portraits!⁠
6. Maternity
7. High School Seniors

If you are interested or know someone who might be send them here and have them  fill out this form and send email it back. Tracy will select the families/individuals based on her needs for the session. ⁠

Let’s talk about close ups!  At each photography session I always try to do a few close ups .  I love the way they capture the details of the eyes and for the little guys their little teeth (or lack of :)) It’s fun to capture silly faces and serious ones as well.  They don’t always have to be smiling to make an impact and evoke emotion.  Sometimes non smiling photographs end up being my favorites.  I love them for babies, kids and older children.  I reached back several years to grab some of my favorites!  You may have seen some of these before but a few of these kiddos are 5 and 6 years old already!  Time flies!  Do you see your little one (or older one :)) in these photos picked by me from the collection of Tracy Gabbard Photography Albums?

(clearwater high school senior photographer)”Wow”,  is all I can say about this adorable senior!  She was so beautiful and so much fun to spend the day with.  She choose to go for two sessions (in studio and on location) to make the most of these once in a life time images and she did a great job!  She brought lots of outfits, props, her bunny and even her sisters to the beach!  It’s no secret I LOVE when clients bring special things with them to sessions.  (clearwater high school senior photographer) Heres a quick preview 🙂

High School Seniors

(tampa high school senior photographer)  More fun in the studio with this graduating high school senior! It’s always so much fun to get to know these “kids” and most of their time a member of their family comes for support as well.  This great senior brought along mom and a best friend.  Even though they are not in the sneak peak they  jumped in a few shots and had some fun with her!  It’s so much fun to watch these seniors loosen up as their session goes on.  We turn on the fan, turn up the tunes and have a great time! BRRRR! But she ROCKED it!  You would never know that it was windy and COLD on the beach this night!  This high school senior was SO much fun and so was her family that joined us to keep us company!  She was willing to do anything and in between warming up in a jacket braved the cold in short sleeves and tank tops!  She even got a little wet in the water… just a little but I know it was SO cold!  And a shout out to the class of 2011…the end of the year is fast approaching so if you live or travel to Tampa, Clearwater or surrounding areas…. get your groove on and schedule your Senior sessions with TGP NOW! 🙂

High School Senior Photography 2011 (tampa,dunedin high school senior photography)

High School Seniors,

I love photographing all high school seniors this one came from the tampa/dunedin area!  As much of my photography is family and children (which I of course love as well!) it is fun to have a “subject” that actually stays where you put them! 🙂  This senior from Dunedin High School is an awesome baseball player with a cool car!  We had some fun at a local baseball field and instead of trying to change locations we made the most of the area we were at!  I think we accomplished lots of different looks and fun images.  Tampa high school seniors DO have a choice for senior portraits.  Yes, they MUST go to the contracted photography company for the yearbook picture BUT there is NO obligation to purchase.  Save your money and choose a custom tampa photographer (preferably TGP of course!)  that can offer lots more choices and time so that each senior can be themselves and have images from this special year that they can be proud of and that represent who they are. Being a tampa high school senior photographer, I always encourage seniors to bring things such as clothes, hobby items, pets, etc… that they love.  These make the photos more personable and unique.  It’s also fun to have some changes of clothes.  Even a school t-shirt of their high school or the college they will attending.  TGP offers amazing Senior albums that combine images from the whole session.  They are wonderful keepsakes that will last a life time.  Check out a sample album HERE.  On another “note” have you received the new TGP “E” letter?  It is full of great information, upcoming specials, reminders and soon Holiday Mini sessions and at times info on high school senior photography to! Wow- what a session or half of a session I should say!  After a mushy, mucky beach, gathering dark  rainy clouds, a nice but graceful (ha!) fall from the photographer (yes, thats me!) and then some serious technical difficulties that actually ended the session early and caused us to schedule the other half another day…. I thought this awesome family deserved a quick post of a few of the images we did manage to get!

I had such a great time with this Senior for her in studio session but such a hard time narrowing down her images for a blog post!  She made them all look awesome!  Congrats to this 2010 graduate! This adventurous High School senior traveled two hours to get to the beach with TGP for a quick mini session with cap and gown.  Due to “unforseen circumstances” she was only able to get there a few minutes after sunset.  But because she traveled SOOO far we made the best of our 15 minutes left of shooting time!  Here is a quick sneak peak for her, I know she is worried that her travels were in vain… now she can see how great she looks even after the sun sets!! Enjoy your sneak peak “Miss Graduate” :), I cant wait for our full session!

You may have seen this senior before from his on location session but his in studio session was just as great.  No worries mom’s,  the first two images were shot for an ad, not a normal part of a high school senior session! He agreed to help me out with this particular project! I think he the one image could be a Calvin Klein ad… what do you think? 🙂  Enjoy!

Great Adventure! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

This high school senior had no idea he was in for an adventure when he walked in.  I think he was secretly dreading a photo session as many high school senior boys do but he left smiling and laughing so I am thinking it went okay! 🙂  Anyway, he requested an in studio session but when he arrived I asked him if he was “game” for a little outing at the end of our session.  I am not sure he though it would require hard hats for part of it but it was so worth it as we got some really different and fun images from that “field trip”!  Hey, you never know what you are getting into when you schedule a session with TGP! 🙂

Clearwater High Girls Volleyball team! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

These girls came in for a quick session and were such a blast!  It only took some loud music and a little encouraging to get them to loosen up and “strike a pose” but once they did… watch out!  Look how great they all look!   Do all girls high school volley ball teams look this good?  Thanks girls, you were great fun and I hope you enjoy your gallery and these quick sneak peaks!
