OMG!  These 2 are hilarious! As a Tampa family Photographer I have been SO lucky to photograph them since the they were both newborns.  I don’t think we have missed even one year.  They are both crazy, funny and SO much fun!  After 8 years of following them through their little lives I have literally watched them grow up before my eyes.  It is fun to find new places to have sessions… we have done local parks, clearwater beaches, Tampa universities, the TGP studio and now downtown Tampa.  We just did a little story on their session from last year here.… My heart is full when I get to spend time with them and mom gets a break since I take them off on my own.  Their personalities crack me up and I LOVE that they know me and are comfortable with me.  There is always lots of laughing and giggles throughout the time we spend together and you can see how fun they are in this picture as he reacts to a silly secret his sister told him!  

 

During the session, unprompted by me, big sister asked me to take a pretty picture of the flowers she picked…. how perfectly girl like and sweet… 

Now for the funny part….. a little later in the session, Mr “C” asked me to take a picture of….

yes…. the ANT crawling on his arm! LOL!  TOTAL girl and boy representation there!  I am fairly sure that the picture of this ant will NOT be a large portrait above the fireplace BUT I bet it makes it into and album page because it is SOOO him and shows exactly what both of these awesome kids are like at this age!  And after all, isn’t that what portrait sessions are all about?

Who are we looking for this month?  If you have been following along with our busy summer here over at the TGP studios you know that there have been some super fun “My Stories” over on Instagram and adorable sneak peaks on Facebook.  You also know that July is my birthday month so to celebrate that fun fact we are scheduling a Birthday Bash Model Call 🙂 . We are so excited to be accepting applications for GIRL ONE Year olds that turn ONE sometime in August, yes who have August Birthday (sorry boys, you’re adorable also but this one is going to be stylized “girly”)!  Applications will be accepted from July 1st- July 14th . 

It's July, Time to Apply for August Birthday Model Call

This special little model will have her session stylized by Tracy herself and will include prints and products from the studio.  She will also have a special birthday smash cake and matching outfit to wear for the session!  Her outfit will be provided by Girlies Galore, an amazing Etsy store for girls and boys. Just perfect for our birthday sessions!

Directions and requirements for Model Call:

Due to the amount of applicants only applicants that are able to follow these directions will be accepted. The applicants must:
 
* apply between the dates of July 1st – 14th
* be a GIRL and turn ONE in or close to AUGUST of 2017
* NOT have already chosen a photographer for a first birthday session
* be willing to sign a model release
* be available to travel to the S. Clearwater studio during the week day M-F
* be flexible in August to schedule the session
* have family (at least mom and dad) willing to possibly participate in session.

Maternity Model Call June 2017

It’s time for the first summer model call and we are SO excited!  We are looking for a special mommy that will be 35-38 weeks pregnant in July.  This model call is super special as it will include some fun give aways from some great local businesses as well as studio products printed from the session and will by stylized by Tracy herself!

This model will also have her make up professionally done and receive studio products with a value of over $450.00!  She will also have a portion of the wardrobe for the session provided by TGP with accessories!  Please read carefully for the requirements  of this session and follow the directions below-

Summer Special – 3 Amazing Model Calls

Can you believe summer is just around the corner?  There are lots of awesome changes going on at the TGP studio! Follow along on Instagram to watch the studio make over and on Facebook to see the new product line that is such a great reflection of the modern, timeless portraits that are created in the studio and on location. To celebrate these changes we are going to do  3 amazing model calls that will include some great gifts from the studio and other local businesses.  Each model call will have its own unique set of requirements, dates and gifts and will be planned out by Tracy personally.  There will be calls for June, July and August.  Below are the themes for each month.

June- Pamper Me Maternity 

Applications will be accepted from June 1st- June 9th and the session will be held in July. This special mommy will need to be 35-38 weeks pregnant in July sometime.

July- Birthday Bash

It is my birthday month so what better way to celebrate than to schedule a styled first birthday session!  This model call will be for girls only 🙁 (sorry boys you will have a turn another time!). Applications for this session will be accepted from July 1st – July 14th and the baby should have an August birthday.

August- Sweet Newborn

Applications for this session will be accepted from August 1st-August 15th and the baby should be due in September.  This will be a stylized session that will include new props, new baby items and will reflect the TGP brand.

Give Away on Mother’s Day –

Lots of changes are going on here at the TGP studio this month! I am in for a studio make over (follow along on Instagram). Working hard on creating a new product line (can’t wait to show my new and existing families). Looking forward to giving out newly designed materials that will help my families prepare better for their sessions. However, the BIG news is…. that in honor of Mother’s Day we are giving away 1 complimentary “mommy and me” session. We are looking for all of you to nominate your friend, co worker, anyone you know that you feel is deserving and would appreciate capturing memories of themselves with their children. Although you are super special too, please do not nominate yourself :).  This should be a mom that has a wonderful spirit and would appreciate and LOVE to capture these moments with her children. PLEASE read the requirements and thoughts for nomination below:

–This mom needs to be incapable of paying for the session herself

-Prefer early elementary aged children or younger but not a must.

-Works really hard away from or at home.

-Maintains a positive attitude.

-Might be a single mom supporting kids (doesn’t have to be, just a thought).

-She might take care of someone with an illness.

-She might volunteer her time to take care of others or help in charity events or contribute to the community.

-May have come upon hard times -LOVES her kids (I know we all do) but really cherishes them and enjoys spending quality time.

-You KNOW she would be blessed to have this opportunity.

-Must have ability to get to the studio for the session.

(tampa newborn photographer) I am so excited to share the new TGP promo video for newborn’s!  A special thank you to  Freddy with Final Shot Studios for the AMAZING job!  I was dreading being interviewed and being on camera but he made it easy and smooth and I love the results!  I would highly recommend him and Final Shot Studios for any type of video you are looking for. I am planning to do a few more in the future to give more info on other types of sessions and the New Beginnings Plan as well. We had a perfect little model for this special day and special “shout out” to her family for participating! I hope this video gives a little insight on how a newborn session goes at the TGP studio.  Leave some love if you like it… if you don’t keep it to yourself LOL! 🙂

I’ve been photographing this little on since she was a baby and she “graces” the galleries on the TGP website frequently! Infact, there are usually so many great ones from her session I just switch them out now and then when I update the galleries.   I LOVE getting to see her every year and watching her grow.  She is hilarious and kept me chuckling the whole session.  We called our session an adventure and walked the streets of downtown Dunedin until she started to throw her candy at me! Ha!  I think at that point she was done but what a trooper and she was a blast!  We were lucky enough to have that perfect weather that has been blessing the Tampa area right now and we found some great spots for some fun pictures.  Being a tampa and surrounding areas childrens photographer is a blessing and I am so lucky to have clients that trust me to create priceless images for them.  I can’t wait for next year (or sooner) :)!

High School Seniors, Modeling

LOVE having Tampa HS Seniors in studio or on location!  It is fun to photograph people that can actually stand still and follow directions for more than just a few seconds! 🙂  This amazing graduating Senior was so much fun to work with!  So, all you graduating Seniors that have procrastinated your senior pictures, time is ticking…. Happy Birthday little Miss. Two Year Old! (tampa, clearwater childrens photographer)

Meet “Little Miss Thang” 🙂  She was so much fun to chase around at her house, which is, by the way, on the registry of historic homes in a local city!  We played outside and inside and captured some great images for her two year old session.  Enjoy mom and dad…. gallery is “in the works”!

This was a great session in a small downtown area! This “little man” has been modeling for years and has even been in a national commercial (you can see why!)! Mom needed a few updated head shots and wanted some “mom and son” pictures as it is SO rare for moms to actually be in the pictures (I totally get that one!).  I love the setting in these and the night was so beautiful if it wasn’t for the sunlight getting low I could have kept this session going for a long time!  Its so easy to work with older children and adults! 🙂  I forget that sometimes!  Enjoy your sneak peak mom and your gallery will be there by the end of the week!

For the ladies only, well, not really it is ultimately for the guys (as most things are, right ladies?).  This is the perfect gift for the man that seems to have it all!  It is a great gift for the holidays, anniversary, birthday or even Valentines day which is just around the corner (I know, don’t go there, it is not even Halloween yet!)!  These sessions are SO fun and SO classy.  There is one fee that includes the session, the private on line gallery, the editing process and a custom created 8×8 photographic album.  The albums are so beautiful and the perfect size for a suitcase or special drawer as they are probably not ones you would put out on the coffee table :)! Here is an example of one of the albums.  I blurred out her face here and there just for privacy.  If you are interested in the details call me!  There is still time to schedule one and get the album completed before the holidays but it MUST be done in October.  Because each album is custom created it takes some extra time to get them completed.   Oh- you DO NOT need to have the body of a size “zero” model to look great!  Posing, lighting and photoshop make everyone look great… and who cares anyway, your man wants to see you as YOU!  Believe me, he will LOVE this gift!

You may have seen this senior before from his on location session but his in studio session was just as great.  No worries mom’s,  the first two images were shot for an ad, not a normal part of a high school senior session! He agreed to help me out with this particular project! I think he the one image could be a Calvin Klein ad… what do you think? 🙂  Enjoy!
