Holiday Sessions with and without Santa

WOW what an awesome weekend full of limited edition holiday sessions with and without Santa in the studio!  The kids were AWESOME and the families were also.  I absolutely LOVE seeing my families every year and watching them grow. And meeting new ones also!  These families are so lucky to have holiday memories every year to look back on. 

Santa was a BIG hit and I secretly think all future holiday sessions will be offered with or without Santa each year.  It was SO special to see the children be able to interact with Santa for more than just the standard 1 minute at the mall.  He was able to talk to them, look at a book with them and then give them a special gift.  The kids were SO excited and even the little ones that were unsure were able to have a few minutes to warm up. We were able to sneak in some tricks to still be able to capture the moment.  

These holiday sessions were SO POPULAR this year that I am opening up another short day of them on December 12th.  It will be a VERY quick turn for your images so that you have plenty of time to get out cards and holiday gifts.  There will be limited time slots open so make sure to click HERE to read more information and register.

Oh my goodness! The Holiday Sessions are here!

It has been a wonderful start for the Holiday Sessions at Tracy Gabbard’s Photography Studio in Clearwater, Fl. 

 

Tracy has been the busiest these past weeks! In other words, amazing! 

So many wonderful families getting together at the studio to shoot her very Limited Edition Holiday Sessions of this year, 2018. 

This year’s set is called Silver Bells and we cannot wait to show you the very best photographs of the year.

Tracy is working really hard behind scenes, shooting and editing them to make every single family the happiest.

7 Puppies Invade One Of The Top Best Tampa Photographers!

Tracy is a Tampa Photographer that focus her majority of her work on Babies, Newborns and Families but today was an extra busy day at the studio! 6 beautiful Golden Retriever Puppies are much like toddlers… Absolutely adorable but always on the move! All of them are fluffy and playful and they love everything! It was soooo much fun to have this special photo session with all of them! The only time they were all together in one place was at the very end of the session when they were totally exhausted from all the play time and they all fell asleep. Again, just like a toddler! LOL!

They all have different personalities it was very fun to admire their behavior, who was curious, more laid back, calm, and active. 

Take a look at this special session, these adorable puppies were only 6 weeks old and they already have a new home. We just want to brighten your day, scroll down to see more! There puppies are incredibly adorable, it’s a guaranteed “awww” for everyone. We even got the mother to be present and it was too cute. 

After directing and owning her own preschool for more than 10 years, she found herself still wanting to continue to work with pre-school age children. As she began to capture the precious beginnings   of her newborn son, she quickly fell in love with photography. Nearly 12 years later, her passion as continued to grow in learning and perfecting her craft of Newborn and Family portrait photography.

As a Professional Tampa Photographer, Tracy’s main goal is getting to know her all about her clients and helping make their photography vision a reality. Mothers Day Sessions!

They are finally here, the long awaited Limited Edition Mothers Day Sessions! I am so excited to see all the mamma’s, grandmamma’s and children and capture memories for them that will last forever. These sessions have been designed to be interactive and to capture sweet moments between mom’s and children. Moments that will be remembered through portraits that are looked at and enjoyed everyday.

These captured moments are meant to be professionally printed and proudly displayed for enjoyment. They are meant to make your heart “pitter patter” each time you walk by and look at them. They are to create keepsakes that will be passed down to children and grandchildren.They are special, they are priceless. They are for all ages from babies to grandma’s but they are for mom’s and children only. The goal is for all products ordered to be back in time for Mothers Day.Please don’t let this opportunity pass you by. If your babies are little you know how fast time goes and if your “babies” are big, you understand that even more!

Here’s how they work…

You will choose 2 dates.  One for the session itself (i.e. Saturday, March 24th) and the other one for your selection/viewing appt (there will not be any on line galleries).  At that selection/viewing appointment you will see all of your images from the session and you will order your products at that time as well.  You will be able to see all of the products offered at your actual session so you will have a good idea of what you would like from the session at your appt.  I will be there to guide you through the process and help you select the products that are right for you.  Click on Product Guide to view details.  There will be a few other products offered but these will be exclusive just for the Mothers Day Sessions. These will not be offered in the studio at any other time.

Limited Edition Mothers Day Photo Sessions

The set is designed to be light and airy with flowers and pastel colors.  Blues, yellows, purples and light greens would look great for boys and girls could easily wear the same!  Simple patterns or solids will show off your portraits best.  Email Tracy if you need more ideas or have questions about wardrobe.

The session will last about 20 minutes or so which is plenty of time to capture some sweet moments and classic portraits.  The viewing/selection appointments will be scheduled for an hour but will probably take around 30 minutes or so.  Registration is 189.00 and 50.00 will be applied back as a credit to your order at your selection appointment (as long as you order at that appointment).  If you have looked over the product guide and are ready to schedule your session, we are excited to have you and capture some very special moments!

They are finally here and available!  We are so excited to announce the FIRST EVER Limited Edition Holiday Campfire Sessions!  These sessions are so fun and great for families or just the kids.  Every type of wardrobe will look great dressy or campfire casual will look wonderful also.  These Limited Edition Photo sessions will be complete with plaid blankets, real marshmallows, sticks and an indoor safe campfire! All sessions will take place at the TGP Studio in Clearwater.

Lots of changes are going on here at the TGP studio this month! I am in for a studio make over (follow along on Instagram). Working hard on creating a new product line (can’t wait to show my new and existing families). Looking forward to giving out newly designed materials that will help my families prepare better for their sessions. However, the BIG news is…. that in honor of Mother’s Day we are giving away 1 complimentary “mommy and me” session. We are looking for all of you to nominate your friend, co worker, anyone you know that you feel is deserving and would appreciate capturing memories of themselves with their children. Although you are super special too, please do not nominate yourself :).  This should be a mom that has a wonderful spirit and would appreciate and LOVE to capture these moments with her children. PLEASE read the requirements and thoughts for nomination below:

–This mom needs to be incapable of paying for the session herself

-Prefer early elementary aged children or younger but not a must.

-Works really hard away from or at home.

-Maintains a positive attitude.

-Might be a single mom supporting kids (doesn’t have to be, just a thought).

-She might take care of someone with an illness.

-She might volunteer her time to take care of others or help in charity events or contribute to the community.

-May have come upon hard times -LOVES her kids (I know we all do) but really cherishes them and enjoys spending quality time.

-You KNOW she would be blessed to have this opportunity.

This years theme is definitely one of my favorites and it twinkles with holiday celebration! We are finally ready to schedule some children’s holiday mini sessions!  There are 2 choices of packages this year (of course with the option to purchase more after receiving your gallery from the a la cart menu).  The “Sweet Holiday” will be super fun and will be held on Friday afternoon, November 8th.  There will be limited sessions available with only a certain amount of time slots in the afternoon.  IF there is enough, I may be able to open a Saturday morning.  Depending on your package you may create your own cards with your digital files OR have TGP create them for you with the Sweet and Sassy package.  TGP cards will be customed designed to your session and you may purchase more if you are in need of more than 24.  Hope to see you there!  Feel free to share this post with friends! 🙂  Email to [email protected] or call (727) 491-6476

I try not to blog to many holiday sessions since I know many of the images end up on Christmas cards and I certainly don’t want to spoil any of those surprises.  So, after I am sure everyone has received their cards I like to post a little preview of some of the holiday sessions I was lucky enough to photograph.  There were lots of mini sessions and full family sessions and there is no way to share all of them but here are some fun ones that I thought you might enjoy.

This adventurous High School senior traveled two hours to get to the beach with TGP for a quick mini session with cap and gown.  Due to “unforseen circumstances” she was only able to get there a few minutes after sunset.  But because she traveled SOOO far we made the best of our 15 minutes left of shooting time!  Here is a quick sneak peak for her, I know she is worried that her travels were in vain… now she can see how great she looks even after the sun sets!! Enjoy your sneak peak “Miss Graduate” :), I cant wait for our full session!

Sneak Peak of Santa mini session update!  I had 2 families change from a the Sneak Peak of Santa mini session to full family sessions.  That opened up a couple of spots for it!  If you are interested or know a family that might be please let them send them my way.  These are so much fun and are really a great deal for everything you get.  Take a quick look at the details and if you need more call or email.  I don’t expect the openings to stay open long! There is also a sample card (each session gets its own custom created card) and a few images from previous sessions to see for an idea of what Sneak Peak of Santa is!  It really is one of a kind and as far as I know Tracy Gabbard Photography is the only local photographer doing it!

Clearwater High Girls Volleyball team! (tampa, clearwater high school senior photographer)

These girls came in for a quick session and were such a blast!  It only took some loud music and a little encouraging to get them to loosen up and “strike a pose” but once they did… watch out!  Look how great they all look!   Do all girls high school volley ball teams look this good?  Thanks girls, you were great fun and I hope you enjoy your gallery and these quick sneak peaks!

Sneak Peak of Santa Questions (tampa clearwater family photographer)

I have had a few questions about the Sneak Peak of Santa mini sessions.  So, I thought I would go ahead and answer them here for everyone in case others had questions also.  Sneak Peak of Santa is GREAT for families with young children (and fun for older ones also).  It accomplishes many things all in one quick 30 minutes or so.  Basically this session works best if Santa is mom, dad or someone familiar to the child.  The Santa suit is provided but we never really have to put the full beard on.  If we do any head shots of Santa it is usually the back of Santa which only requires hat and hair.  Remember, it is a SNEAK PEAK of Santa!  This is great for many reasons.  First, young children are often scared of Santa and will not usually interact with him at all.  Second, children interact so much more naturally with their parents or a familiar person.  This helps create priceless images!  It is a great way to get Santa pictures and these images not only make great holiday portraits but are perfect for fun holiday cards.  If you do not have anyone that can or will put on the Santa suit we can provide someone for you if you need it.  It works for multiple children and just one.  Babies are precious in these images also.  Here are just a couple of last years and a sample custom created card (front and back) that was ordered.  If you have any other questions please call.  Also- if you know a family that you think would make a great fit for this type of session send them my way.  This is a ONE of a kind session that I have not seen done anywhere else in this area (until another photographer steels it :))!  Just a reminder these mini sessions will only be held on Saturday, November 14th so space in limited.  It seems far away but it comes up so quickly!

I am so excited about my new web site and blog! Bigger, better pictures… more options…more FUN!  Make sure you go check out the web site!  There are new pictures (maybe you will see someone you know or love :)), bigger pictures, and awesome “boutique” with all kinds of new products!  Don’t forget holiday shopping is coming up!   Shopping… that brings me to Holiday sessions!  I have been saving this post for the “new blog” although it should have been posted a long time ago but I just couldn’t bring myself to post it on the old one with the old “style”.  Yes, it is only August (almost September :)) and I am already talking Holiday Sessions! I will be having two sets of mini sessions this year.  “Pictures in the Park” and the annual “Sneak Peak of Santa” mini sessions.  “Sneak Peak of Santa” has availability for 10 sessions that day and 2 are already scheduled, leaving only 8 and I haven’t even advertised yet!  Call the studio for more details on each session.   If you are interested in regular family sessions for holiday or just because 🙂 make sure to call soon as dates are filling quickly.  Several weeks in September and October are already fully scheduled and there are limited dates available through out other weeks.  Orders for products (ie; leather products, jewelry, etc…) must be in by November 7th to guarantee holiday delivery.
