Summer Session Give Away!!

SUMMER SESSION GIVE AWAYS!SUMMER SESSION GIVE AWAYS!

Summer is coming and I want to be creative with some give aways. What does that mean?

It means that 6 lucky families/individuals will be the recipients of a complimentary session that could include professional hair and make up for mom or participating woman! Tracy will select (2) per month for June, July and August! The sessions can be ANY of these types of sessions;

1. Family (with any age children)
2. Newborn
3. First Birthday (or other “milestone” session)
4. BRANDING or Headshot session
5. Women’s beauty session (not boudoir) i.e. having a milestone birthday (30, 40, 50 etc…), divorce, new job, or just want to celebrate “you” with beautiful portraits!
6. Maternity
7. High School Seniors

If you are interested or know someone who might be send them here and have them  fill out this form and send email it back. Tracy will select the families/individuals based on her needs for the session.

Family Photography at Florida Beach with Tracy Gabbard Means Lots of Fun

Beach session inquiries are in full swing so I thought I would do a little “throw back” from a beach session a few months ago.  These images are a true representation of this amazing family.  Their lives are crazy busy with 2 little boys but also they know how special this time is and these images will always remind them of a time quickly forgotten as their lives change and their boys grow.  Beach sessions with little ones include lots of play and games to make it fun and keep them going.  I think you can see that here! 🙂

Fun in the Sun Beach Maternity (tampa maternity photographer)

(tampa maternity photographer) This awesome couple was lots of fun. They traveled from Plant City all the way to Clearwater Beach for their beach session. Their love for each other was totally obvious during their session and as a Tampa maternity photographer I love being able to capture that for them. The pure joy for their new baby truly makes the images so real and meaningful.

It was an absolutely beautiful night (as you can see). We thought it might be chilly but it turned out to be gorgeous. The wrap material on the beach was all Mommy’s idea. She braved changing on the beach (thankfully it was not to busy that night) and we even thought the “beach police” were headed our way at one point as she was changing! She was covered with a towel but we were all like nervous teenagers! LOL! We had tons of fun and captured some really great images for their maternity session. The couple’s newborn session was just as awesome and I look forward to sharing their precious baby girl soon! Stay tuned! (tampa maternity photographer)

Beautiful beach maternity (tampa maternity photographer)

(Tampa maternity photographer) Wow!  We sure lucked out with beautiful weather for this beach session.  This special couple is TGP’s newest member of the New Beginnings Plan.  Can you believe this mommy to be is due in just a couple short weeks!  She looks so amazing and so happy (daddy does to of course but I know it’s no secret that is is “all about mommy” during this time)! 🙂  We actually moved this session up a day early and it was pure luck that we did since the night we had originally scheduled ended up being one of the coldest nights of the year.  But this evening was absolutely perfect!  (tampa maternity photographer)

Outdoor Newborn Session (tampa baby photographer)

(tampa baby photographer) This sweet bundle of joy has only been in the world for seven days and he’s already melting hearts. I was lucky enough to get together with my close photographer friend and spend the evening with this little bundle of joy.  We had an absolute blast with playing with him and although he was hungry at sunset he was the perfect model for the rest of the session.  The lighting was perfect and so was the company 🙂

*Disclaimer- baby was safely spotted for all shots and specifically on the swing, the baby had hands on him at all times the rest was done in photoshop. 🙂   (tampa baby photographer)

Lucky me (clearwater beach photographer)

(Clearwater beach photographer)  As often as I shoot on the beach, I don’t shoot in the mornings very often.  Why?  Many reasons but mostly because I am not a great morning person and morning beach sessions must happen EARLY for the light to be at it’s best.  Sunset is a little bit more my speed 🙂  However, when a family vacations in Orlando and travels all the way here to have a session with TGP… I figure the least I can do is accomodate their schedule so they can spend the day on our beautiful beaches after our session!  Although we had a fussy toddler that was NOT happy about the sand (this happens all the time with the little ones) and we did have some hot temperatures, it was SO worth it!  Not only did I get to meet and spend time with an amazing family but I got to help them capture what I hope are great memories of their time together on vacation.  I truly enjoyed our session together and hope to meet them again on another vacation! 🙂  (clearwater beach photographer)

Family Beach FUN! (clearwater beach photographer)

(clearwater beach photographer) Not only was this family super nice and fun but beautiful as well!  They kids were just darling and I had a blast chasing them around the beach with my camera!  Beach sessions are such an amazing way to not only create beautiful portraits but also to capture timeless memories.  Making the session fun and interactive for the whole family is a great way to get the kids and parents relaxed and feeling at ease infront of the camera.  Of course we always work to get the classic smiling portraits but my favorites and many time my clients favorites end up being the ones that show true personality.  That may include giggling and tickling pictures or even a serious expression that tugs at moms heartstrings.  It’s those faces that only moms (and sometimes dads :)) know and love.  This family was vacationing here and I hope that our session together was a highlight of their trip and one they will not forget.  I know it was a highlight of my week! 🙂  Their next big challenge will be when they receive their gallery in the next day or so and have to make decisions on what to invest in! Believe me when I say it will be a tough choice!   LOVE this session! (clearwater beach photographer)

Breathless! (tampa bay beach photography)

(tampa bay beach photography) Yes, these two adorable twins left me breathless as I chased them around the beach! 🙂  But seriously, how cute are they?  These pictures are a true representation of them and their little personalities at this age.  They were so much fun and I hope to be able to see them again when they visit Florida another time! To go to not to go…. (tampa maternity photographer)

(tampa maternity photographer)  To go or not to go… to the beach for this maternity session….it was literally up in the air as I was driving to meet them.  This mommy to be joined the TGP New Beginnings Plan had her heart set on a beach maternity session but the weather was NOT cooperating.  This couple went down early to enjoy a bite to eat before our session.  So they were there watching the clouds pour in (literally!) 🙂 Her first phone call was…. “I know it’s cloudy but I think it will be okay”.  So, I packed up for the beach.  On my way down her second phone call was “It’s raining, I think we better switch to the studio”.  So, I slightly changed directions and headed there.  Her third phone call was “I think it’s clearing up.  Let’s try the beach”!  So, I headed to the beach (which is one of my favorite places to shoot)!  Well, as we all know, Florida weather is SO unpredictable and as it turned out, it ended up being windy, cloudy, cold AND rainy.  But we made the best of it and I must say we captured some of my favorite maternity images ever!  The weather made it a truly unique session and we were able to create some images that could have never happened with a perfect sunset.  (tampa maternity photographer)

So, I am such a bad blogger, especially during the busy season. But I love to share special sessions and families that I get to meet.  I am going to go back, pick a few sessions and share their stories and images.  Tomorrow you will get to see this couples newborn session.  He is SUCH a doll baby.  I can’t wait to see him at his next session.

More beautiful families… how do I get so lucky? (clearwater beach family photographer)

(clearwater beach family photographer)  Seriously, I am so lucky to have the most beautiful families as clients! I think one of my toughest jobs is narrowing down images for a blog post!  There are SOOO many great ones of this family that I could post their whole gallery! These precious children were so much fun.  The best sessions happen when a family is happy to be together and everyone (including dad :)) is able to enjoy the moment.  A  photo shoot should not only create great images but also create a wonderful lasting memory for the family.  Many families enjoy ice cream or dinner afterwards making the whole evening a fun event instead of a “the dreaded photo session”.  I love to keep everyone moving and busy with “posed” pictures turning into fun candid’s that turn into giggles and snuggles.  This family was amazing to photograph and they truly made the evening a fun event!  Thank you “J” family!  Gallery soon to follow!  (clearwater beach family photographer)

Fun at the beach (clearwater beach photographer)

(clearwater beach photographer)  Yes, it was windy, yes it was slightly chilly and yes, it was cloudy BUT what a great session with this awesome family!  I LOVE being able to document families at the beach.  Especially when it is the kids first experience!  Little kids have such a difficult time in the evenings (especially when on vacation) but these kids were such troopers! They played hard in the sand and water during our time together and I couldn’t have enjoyed watching them more. Thank you to this great family for having me capture such special moments for you!  Gallery SOON to follow! 🙂  (clearwater beach photographer)

Happy Anniversary! (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Happy 5th Anniversary to this great couple!  We actually had their session on their anniversary, they were so awesome and we had a blast! There was lots of kissing 🙂 and I love how their images show so much emotion, you can “feel the love”! I hope your anniversary dinner was wonderful, enjoy your sneak peak!

Well deserved blog post (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Wow- what a session or half of a session I should say!  After a mushy, mucky beach, gathering dark  rainy clouds, a nice but graceful (ha!) fall from the photographer (yes, thats me!) and then some serious technical difficulties that actually ended the session early and caused us to schedule the other half another day…. I thought this awesome family deserved a quick post of a few of the images we did manage to get!

Gorgeous! (tampa, clearwater family beach photographer)

Wow- This was such a great session.  This totally in love couple joined their families together on the beach one gorgeous morning.  The ceremony was so simple but SO touching!  It was just them and their closest family, the minister and me.  Their love for their children and each other is so obvious to anyone that is lucky enough to spend any time with them.  Not to mention their glowing “beauty” :)…. I could have photographed them all day if they would have let me but for whatever reason the kids were not up for a full day of pictures…. imagine that! 🙂  We had lots of fun though for the time we did spend together.  Enjoy your sneak peak “L” family…. I truly enjoyed our session and can’t wait for you to see your gallery.  It will be ready soon, I promise!

Family (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Ahhhh… weather, the topic of conversations these days!  It is finally warming up but it wasn’t quite soon enough for this family.  It was SUPER windy and cold for these “troopers” but they hung in there and kept it going until the end! I thought about blogging a few outtakes with everyone’s hair in their faces and the kids teeth chattering but I decided to spare the family the painful reminder 🙂  Thankfully we did get lots of great photos and we will just pretend the like the wind was a fan blowing to make everyone look glamorous! 🙂  Enjoy!

Windy but wonderful! (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

It was so great to be part of this families Florida vacation.  Especially since this was their kids FIRST trip ever to the beach!  How awesome to be able to be a part of it and capture those great moments!  These kids were awesome and even though it was REALLY windy and chilly the boys were so excited.  The littlest one (two years old) ended up in the car with dad to keep warm but I think the older boys could have stayed out there all night, even braving the water!

Cold, cold, go away! (Tampa, Clearwater family photographer)

So many beach sessions lately and they are SO windy and cold! 🙁  This particular night wasn’t to bad and we were lucky enough that even though it rained (I mean RAINED!) ALL day, it cleared up just in time to head out to the beach.  It was such a fun session even though the littlest member of the family DID NOT like the sand!  Infact, he ended up with his shoes on as he basically refused to walk with them off.  Hey, when your two years old, you have ways of getting what you want! 🙂  Anyway, heres a few sneak peaks for mom and dad (they already got a quick sneak peak on facebook… join the fan club at www.facebook.com/tracygabbard)!

Graduation is coming soon! (clearwater, tampa high school senior photographer)

This adventurous High School senior traveled two hours to get to the beach with TGP for a quick mini session with cap and gown.  Due to “unforseen circumstances” she was only able to get there a few minutes after sunset.  But because she traveled SOOO far we made the best of our 15 minutes left of shooting time!  Here is a quick sneak peak for her, I know she is worried that her travels were in vain… now she can see how great she looks even after the sun sets!! Enjoy your sneak peak “Miss Graduate” :), I cant wait for our full session!

Chilly but perfect! (tampa, clearwater, beach family photographer)

Since almost every family member I have lives up in the cold artic of Minnesota and all my cousins have new children and families I LOVE it when they come to visit and I can capture some family moments for them.  I watch all their “babies” grow up via facebook and am always wishing I was able to help capture their memories through the camera!  You might have seen a few more sneak peaks of this session if you are a TGP Fan on facebook but here are some new ones for “the blog” 🙂

Awful Weather, Awesome Family! (tampa, clearwater beach family photographer)

I think this session had every type of weather except for heat!  It was SOOO cold and windy on the beach on this evening.  I would normally have liked to reschedule but part of this family was from out of town so we made the best of it and trudged on!  They were all TOTAL troopers for the whole session.  Despite the cold wind they all had fun together as a family and made the session a blast!  I think that is one of the best parts of my job, getting to meet amazing people and families.  So, to my beach family, thank you so much for a fun session!  I will get your gallery to you ASAP and thank you for being patient with your sneak peak as it took me a little longer than I anticipated!

A special thank you to my wonderful clients!  I love seeing all the repeat clients and meeting new ones each year!  It was a great season for Tracy Gabbard Photography and I look forward to growing this year with lots of new clients.  January is already starting to book so if you are having a baby or want “milestone” pics for those little ones be sure to call and schedule soon!  I am looking forward to photographing for some local charity events this coming year and would like to add a few more to my schedule.  So, if you know of one coming up that needs photographer send me an email with the info and I will get back to you as soon as I can.  Here is a quick recap of the literally hundreds of holidays cards that went out by TGP and a few more peaks at some of my favorite holiday images that I couldn’t share in blogging as I never know what ends up on holiday cards.  Have a great holiday everyone!

Popular Beach Sessions (tampa, clearwater family photographer)

Remember the beach session that was rained out?  Well, here it is again… this time MUCH more successful!  I know why mom (fellow photographer friend…Tara- www.tarafriedley.com) is so skinny because she has two busy and I mean BUSY boys!  They were LOVING the beach and all the freedom that goes with it.  Here are a few sneak peaks for mom and dad as I know they are waiting patiently!

Beach, beach beach…(tampa, clearwater family photographer)

So I know that this mom has been waiting on pins and needles for sneak peak!  She would NEVER say anything to me but I know she has been wondering when… and because I am delayed in getting this to her I will post a couple extra images!  She knows I am right! 🙂  Anyway, another great beach session with out the sunset!  I am thinking the sun is hiding from me these days.  It seems as if the evenings I am not out on a session the sunsets are just beautiful!  Either way, these turned out great!  Enjoy a few extra images “G” family and you can look forward to getting your gallery this week!  Thanks for being patient!

Last but not least… mommy and “baby”!  This little one (who I am sure you have seen many times on the blog) was all about daddy that night but at the end as she was winding down she “turned on” all that love that “babies” have for their mommies!  I love the second image… I can just feel my own daughter looking at me when I hold her and nothing else exists but her and I for that brief moment.

More beach photography and more to come! (tampa, clearwater, family photographer, beach photography)

It is always fun to photography family and believe it or not I don’t get the opportunity that often.  This is my favorite nephew (does it count that he is my only nephew?:)) and his family.  Thankfully, the summer weather is starting to disappear and hopefully we won’t have to reschedule to many more sessions.  The sky had some dark clouds as you can see, but the weather held off just long enough for us to finish and it turned out beautifully,  although my “primadona” sister -in-law wouldn’t agree as she complained of sand, bugs and heat!  The boys were great, I am not sure what she expected…. sand kind of comes with the territory on the beach, don’t you think? 🙂  You know I love you Lisa! 🙂  I am glad you loved your gallery!

Beach session, well, maybe not so much! (tampa, clearwater, family photographer)

So, this time of the year is really difficult to keep a beach session.  The weather rains EVERY DAY at sunset or right before.  This family had already rescheduled due to weather once so we were determined to make it happen this time.  Yeah, mother nature had a different idea!  Tara and her family (www.tarafreidley.com) were troopers but I think we had more out take images than anything else.  Just thought it would be fun to post a few, as you can tell, we will have to reschedule again.  It rained before, during and after.  Here is what a beach session looks like when you try to make it work with bad weather! 🙂  Enjoy, I hope it brings you a few smiles!

Yes, waiting in the car, hoping for some dry weather!

I think this is pretty much the way the evening was (at least weather wise)!  I couldn’t help but post these two hilarious images.  They are truly some of my favorites ever and will for sure be going on the “out takes” album on the Tracy Gabbard Photography Facebook fan page.  Don’t forget to join!  Just click the facebook logo up at the top of the blog!
